We started recording these songs back in 2018 before John joined. Then he wrote parts to play on top of what we'd done already and did some extra shouting. Then we got sidetracked by writing new songs, changed our name and shelved these songs for another day.

Anyway, another day is here! This is being released on 'Juneteenth' and Bandcamp are donating 100% of their share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, a national organization that has a long history of effectively enacting racial justice and change through litigation, advocacy, and public education.

For the rest of June we'll also donate our proceeds to the GoFundMe campaign for Black Lives Matter UK (UKBLM), a coalition of Black liberation organisers across the UK. The collective strives to “dismantle capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy and the wider power structures that disproportionately affect Black people in Britain, former colonies, and around the world” (gf.me/u/x6ip22).
